Rayto

Licence terms

These terms govern your use of Rayto (“the software”), made by Full name (“we”). You buy Rayto from {{CHECKOUT PROVIDER}}, our reseller: its terms of sale cover the purchase, payment and your statutory rights as a buyer. These terms cover what you may do with the software.

1. Free trial

You can use every feature of Rayto free for 14 days. After that, Rayto asks for a licence key. Your menus and settings stay where they are.

2. Your licence

With a licence key you may install and use Rayto on up to 3 Macs that you use yourself, for personal and work purposes. The licence is personal: it may not be shared with, given to or sold to someone else without our consent. It does not expire.

3. Updates

Your licence includes every version of Rayto released within one year of your purchase. Versions released in that year keep working without limit. If you want versions released later, you can renew for another year of updates (currently €12) — this is optional. Your statutory rights, including updates the law requires, are not affected.

4. What you may not do

5. What Rayto does on your Mac

Rayto performs the actions you set up — it presses keys, opens apps and websites, moves windows and runs scripts and macros you add. You are responsible for the actions you configure. Rayto needs macOS's Accessibility permission to work; some features depend on macOS and may change when Apple changes macOS.

6. Ownership and open-source parts

Rayto remains our property; you receive a licence to use it. Rayto includes open-source components under their own licences (for example Sparkle, MIT licence), listed in the app.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the Product Liability Act and where we have given a guarantee. For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an obligation that is essential for the purpose of the licence, and then only for the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise our liability is excluded. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

8. End of the licence

If you seriously breach these terms — for example by sharing your licence key — your licence ends. If you get a refund, your licence ends and the key may no longer be used.

9. Law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live remains in force.

10. Changes

We may change these terms for future purchases. Your licence keeps the terms it was bought under.
